Drawn from the visual language of Scandinavian folk embroidery and botanical woodcarving, the Ella earrings are laser cut from raw unlacquered brass in an elongated oval — with a delicate stem-and-leaf motif cut through the center that lets light pass through the negative space. Suspended from a handmade 14K gold-filled ear wire, they move beautifully and catch the light as you wear them.
The raw brass deepens in character with wear, much like the well-loved wooden objects and textiles that inspired them. I design and make these by hand in San Francisco — because of that, the brushed finish and texture will vary slightly from pair to pair, making each one uniquely yours.

Raw brass develops a natural patina over time. Store in an airtight bag when not in use to slow oxidation.
