Inspired by Scandinavian folk floral motifs, the Anna flower drop earrings are laser cut from raw unlacquered brass in a tulip-like silhouette — drawn by hand and translated into metal, with radiating lines and three small brass dots along the hem that echo the rhythmic patterns of Nordic textile traditions. Paired with an antiqued .999 silver-plated pewter circle stud for a warm two-tone contrast.
The raw brass deepens in character with wear, much like the well-loved wooden objects and textiles that inspired them. I design and make these by hand in San Francisco — because of that, the brushed finish and texture will vary slightly from pair to pair, making each one uniquely yours.
