Mira, Mira on the wall, who's the fairest of them all? The first color I ever made this design in was blue, so it seemed only fitting they were given the Danish name "Mira" which means the "sea." They remind me of the idyllic, simple seascapes I admired while visiting family in the tiny Danish village of Stubbekøbing as a child. The sky was so big, and the sea such a deep blue. Looking at these, I transport myself back to a time fishing for guppies with my grandpa off the docks.
